Judge slams panel’s double-edged arguments | Srikrishna Committee report | Telangana | Indian Express: "Justice L Narasimha Reddy of the High Court has slammed the Justice BN Srikrishna Committee for arguing in faovur of Telangana in the report that was made public in Option V and arguing against separate state in the secret document.
The judge said that the committee had pointed out in the report that was made public in Option No: V of Chapter IX thus: “However, the overall economic viability of Telangana with Hyderabad is projected to be stable and as a matter of fact the GDP of this state will be much larger than many other states in the country.” It is also mentioned that the continuing demand for a separate Telangana has some merit, though not totally unjustified."
